When I’m not behind my camera capturing the moments that matter most, I’m a full-time working mom navigating the beautifulchaos of a blended family. I work remotely for a company contracted by CMS, where I process Medicare and Medicaid claims—but photography is where I get to let my creative side shine.
I’m a mom to three amazing kids: two girls, ages 18 and 13, and our newest and final addition to our blended family, a sweet baby boy. My oldest is currently enjoying her senior year and preparing to pursue a degree in education after graduation. My youngest daughter is soaking up her final year before high school, neither of which I am quite emotionally prepared for!
I’m also engaged to an amazing, supportive man who just happens to double as my very best friend. Together, we have built this beautifully chaotic life—and we share it with our incredibly spoiled pitbull, King, who is fully convinced he runs the house.
When I’m not working or capturing memories for my amazing clients, you can usually find me cheering Addyson on at one ofher cheer events—she’s a flyer—or attending an Odyssey of the Mind competition, school event, or whatever else Ava has going on. Being their biggest supporter is one of my favorite jobs.
Outside of mom life and photography, I love shopping with my girls, traveling, cheering on the 76ers and the Pittsburgh Steelers, and anything pink. You can also usually find a Juneberry Red Bull or Starbucks drink nearby, and I will almost never say no to sushi. Give me a good horror movie or true crime documentary, and I’m happy.
My photography journey started in 2016 when I was gifted my very first DSLR camera. Since then, I’ve upgraded my
equipment twice—but more importantly, I’ve spent years learning, practicing, experimenting, and falling more in love with photography.
In 2020, I started taking photos for family and friends and began dabbling with the idea of turning my passion into something more. Life took an unexpected turn in 2022, and photography took a backseat for a little while. But in 2023 and 2024, I found my way back behind the camera, rebranded, and jumped back in with both feet.
Since then, I’ve been learning, growing, finding my style, and building something I’m incredibly proud of.
Kendra Lynn Photography is more than just a business to me. It’s a creative outlet, a passion, and an opportunity to freeze the moments that pass by far too quickly. Because if there’s one thing I’ve learned as a mom, it’s that the days may feel long—but somehow, the years fly by.
